CHARLES GRACIE ACADEMY

The top priority here at the Charles Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy is to provide the highest level of service to you as a student, as a fighter, and as a person. The academy is run with a family-like atmosphere. Our camaraderie extends from lessons, to sparring sessions, to team tournaments and friendships. Because of this, we ask that you be respectful of others while training. The highly proficient nature of our fighting technique requires that students pay special attention to safety when practicing. This will prevent unnecessary injuries, as well as helping to make the experience enjoyable for all students.

At the Charles Gracie Academy, you will receive the highest level of training and personalized attention directly by a member of the Gracie family. I personally teach and supervise all classes. We are serious about our craft and it is from my family's pride that we develop our students into highly skilled fighters and self-defense practitioners.

Saturday, April 26th!

I want to announce a special event to celebrate the anniversary of my tenth year in America. I wish to formally announce the First Annual Charles Gracie Invitational Jiu-Jitsu Tournament 2008. The competition will be held here in Northern California, on Saturday 26 April 2008, and is exclusive to Charles Gracie Academy and Official Affiliate Academy students only.

For some time I have been interested in conducting a closed tournament for the academies in the Charles Gracie Network. I hope to make this a family friendly celebration of sportsmanship among friends.

In the interest of making this a big success for everyone I want every student to know that I strongly urge all the students in the Charles Gracie Network to participate in this event.
