We
would like to personally invite you and your students to join
us and compete in the Third United Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Tournament
2004, to be held here in Northern California, USA. The competition
will take place on May 8th, 2004 at San Francisco State University
(Main Gym) in San Francisco, California. Our last tournament
yielded 390 competitors from around the world and many competitive
matches providing a crowd of 2,000 spectators with a weekend
of excitement. In our highly anticipated 3rd year we expect
over 450 athletes and over 2,500 spectators with even more
exciting matches. The United Gracie Tournament has become
one of the premiere US tournaments due to the support it has
received from the academies, athletes, and spectators. Men,
women, and children of all age groups and belt levels, from
white to black belts are invited to compete and attend. All
Athletes in first and second places will be awarded with gold
and silver medals respectively.
To insure the tournament runs smoothly we strongly recommend
that all athletes and coaches be at the tournament at 9:00am
on Saturday. The competition will begin promptly at 10:00am
with an opening ceremony. In addition to awards, all athletes
will receive free Tournament T-shirts. We would love to see
all athletes, spectators, family, martial artists, etc. gather
in this friendly atmosphere to help promote the great art
of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

registration, rules, and other general information about the
Third United Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Tournament 2004. If you or yours
